Jan. 2005 Dear
David; What an experience I had photographing Sutton's Corner Museum. It
contains such a tremendous wealth of history that is quickly disappearing from our farms
and memories. This collection of artifacts demonstrates the self-sufficient ingenuity
and pioneer spirit of our heritage.
As a photographer I was so impressed with the
artistic presentation of the thousands of items. Each display has a carefully planned
design and they all merge into one of the most beautiful museums I've ever experienced.
Sutton's Corner is a time capsule and it will enable current and future generations to
better understand the frontier spirit and can do attitude that is the foundation of our
country. Sincerely, Diane Kirkland Senior Photographer Georgia
