Nov. 12, 2001 Letter to Ms. Dudley - Georgia Dept. of Industry,
Trade and Tourism Dear Ms. Dudley, We wanted to let you know how much we
appreciated our visit to the Ft. Gaines & Sutton's Corner Museum in early October.
The care and attention to detail in restoring all that we saw was extraordinary. We were
truly transported to another time by Mr. David Campbell. It was especially
interesting for me as my mother owned & operated a general merchandise & grocery
store on the farm on which we lived in rural SW Louisiana. I remember being in the store
with her while my older sisters were in school. My father also ran a blacksmith shop
next door to the store. Thank you for whatever contribution your organization
